We are going with a 6-ton Geo thermal System with horizontal lines, that we will be purchasing from Ecs up in Smithville Mo.  Chris at ECS has been a joy to work with.  ** Check with your local utility company.  Ours will be giving us a rebate for installing our Geo Thermal system **  This is up and above the 30% tax credit we will received from the federal goverment!

You can't go wrong when mother nature is heating and cooling your home. 

1. HOW GeoThermal works:
   1. The way that Geo Thermal works, is that a fluid is cycled through a pipe looped in your ground where the earth is a fairly consistent tempater all year long.  An exchanger is used to either heat your house in the winter or cool it in the summer, using the fluid after it has either been chilled or warmed by the earth.
   2. Wether you have city lot or acreage, a system can be adapted to work for you.

Fireplaces/stoves

• If you just can not live without a fireplace
  1. Get an insert.  It will keep you heat in your house and not have it sucked up the chimmey
• I will be using a pellet insert and a pellet stove. 
  1. Pellets are made from wood byproducts and burn hotter an cleaner than logs.
